A 33-year-old man from Massachusetts was arrested by the Reading Police Department after stealing food from a driver at a Burger King drive-thru window in Reading. The man, a known individual to the police, took a food order from a driver at the drive-thru window before fleeing the scene.
Approximately 20 minutes later, the man was found by police in a backyard on Main Street, where he had refused to leave and also exposed himself. He was then arrested and charged with unarmed robbery, disorderly conduct, open and gross lewdness, and larceny under $1,200. The man was scheduled to appear in Woburn District Court for arraignment.
