Trump, who cannot run for the presidency again due to constitutional limitations, has previously used authoritarian rhetoric on the campaign trail, suggesting he would be a dictator for “one day” if elected again. He has also praised leaders like Xi Jinping of China, Viktor Orbán of Hungary, and Vladimir Putin of Russia for ruling with an iron fist. Trump is currently facing multiple felony charges for allegedly attempting to overturn the results of the 2020 election by spreading false claims of voter fraud. Despite these claims, there is no evidence to support them. Trump’s appeal to politically conservative Christian voters, who are key to his base, is essential for his success in the upcoming election.
