Former Lawrence teacher Jesus Moore, 35, is facing federal sexual assault charges for allegedly transporting a minor across state lines for unlawful sexual conduct, according to the U.S. Attorney for New Hampshire. Moore, indicted on these charges, was employed as a physical education teacher and boys’ basketball coach at Lawrence High School. The incident involving a former student occurred around March 7, 2022, when the victim was under 18 years old.
Moore turned himself in to Manchester police in February and was initially charged with sexual assault in Manchester District Court.
