Massachusetts police receive report of ‘violent domestic incident’ from alleged victim – Baltimore Sun

Baltimore County police are investigating an alleged domestic incident involving Ravens wide receiver Xavien “Zay” Flowers that occurred in Owings Mills on January 16. Acton Police in Massachusetts initially received a report about the incident, where the victim described being physically assaulted and left with bruises. Flowers has not been charged or named a suspect in the case, and the investigation is ongoing.

The alleged victim reported a third individual present who allegedly drew a firearm during the incident. Flowers, who has not commented publicly, resides in a townhouse in Owings Mills where the incident allegedly took place, according to police dispatch audio.

The NFLPA and NFL are both monitoring the situation, and Flowers’ sponsorship deals with companies like Pizza Boli’s, MyProtein, Bath & Body Works, Dunkin’ Donuts, and Under Armour may be affected due to the allegations. Some companies have reportedly removed ads featuring Flowers from their social media pages, while others have not responded to requests for comment.

Flowers, the Ravens’ top receiver, played in playoff games following the alleged incident, but his future in both the league and in terms of sponsorships remains uncertain. Baltimore County and Acton Police have not released further details about the case, citing ongoing investigations. Flowers’ agent has also not commented on the matter.
