Boeing is taking steps to prevent future midair cabin panel blowouts after an incident involving an Alaska Airlines 737 MAX 9 flight in January. The company’s senior vice president for quality, Elizabeth Lund, announced plans for design changes to ensure the issue does not happen again. The NTSB is conducting an investigation into the incident and Boeing’s response.
