The Highs and Lows of Elle King’s Journey Over Time

Elle King has had a rollercoaster journey on her way to success in the music industry. Born and raised in Los Angeles to comedian Rob Schneider and former model London King, Elle followed her passion for music after receiving a record by The Donnas at a young age. After the release of her 2012 EP, Elle rose to fame with hits like “Ex’s & Oh’s” and earned Grammy nominations for her debut album, Love Stuff.

Despite initially focusing on rock music, Elle’s sound shifted towards country music, and she released her third album, Come Get Your Wife, in 2023. Elle also made a pivot to onscreen work, cohosting MTV’s Catfish: The TV Show.

Elle’s personal life has seen its share of challenges, including a whirlwind marriage followed by a tough divorce and a brief relationship with Josh Logan. However, Elle found love with tattoo artist Dan Tooker, and the couple got engaged in 2020. They welcomed a son, Lucky, in 2021 after Elle experienced multiple miscarriages.

Elle has been open about her struggles with alcohol and performing, as well as her complex relationship with her father. Most recently, during a Dolly Parton tribute performance at the Grand Ole Opry, Elle faced backlash for her intoxicated behavior and cursing on stage.

Despite the ups and downs, Elle King continues to captivate audiences with her raw talent and honest storytelling through her music. She remains focused on her career, her family, and her own personal growth in the face of challenges.
