Former “Dancing With the Stars” champion Bobby Bones has responded to comments made by Julianne Hough and Mickey Guyton on “Watch What Happens Live” regarding his victory on the show. Despite being called the worst dancer by Guyton, Bones embraces his status as the worst dancer but the greatest champion ever, thanks to fan support. Bones won Season 27 of the show, with Hough noting that while he wasn’t the best dancer, the show’s format relies heavily on fan votes.
Bones also addressed changes made to the show after his controversial win, including adjustments to the judging system. Additionally, Bones expressed shock at the exclusion of his former partner Sharna Burgess from the following season and shared his support for Season 32 contestants facing similar challenges.
The radio host acknowledged that he had no dance training prior to joining the show but worked hard and respected the craft. Bones encouraged current contestants to keep working hard and ignore critics, emphasizing that success on the show is a result of dedication and effort. “Dancing With the Stars” is set to return for Season 33 on September 17th.
