A former NFL player, Gosder Cherilus, caused a disruption on a Delta Airlines flight from Boston to Dublin when he allegedly urinated on another passenger. The 40-year-old, who played for the Detroit Lions, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, and Indianapolis Colts, was asked to leave the plane upon its return to Boston Logan International Airport. However, Cherilus became “irate and uncooperative” before being arrested for Disorderly Conduct and Disturbing a Flight Crew.
Passengers continued their journey to Dublin on a separate flight later that day. Cherilus, a former Boston College football player who was drafted to the NFL in 2008, is scheduled to be arraigned in East Boston District Court on Monday.
