Frederick Richard, Gymnast, Now Has His Own Official Bobblehead

Stoughton-native gymnast Frederick Richard recently helped the U.S. men’s gymnastics team win bronze at the Paris Olympics, marking their first medal since 2008. To celebrate this achievement, the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum unveiled the first bobblehead of Richard. The eight-inch bobblehead features Richard in red, white, and blue attire, with a bronze medal around his neck. It captures the athlete’s celebratory pose on a podium with his name inscribed on the front.

Reflecting on his experience, Richard expressed gratitude for being part of a medal-winning team representing the United States. He also highlighted his goal of inspiring kids across the country to try men’s gymnastics, hoping that the bobblehead will help in spreading the word about the sport. The 20-year-old Olympian, who recently completed his sophomore season at the University of Michigan, played a crucial role in the team’s success at the Paris Olympics.

Produced in collaboration with Richard, the bobblehead is available for presale and is set to ship in January 2025. Each product will be individually numbered and sold exclusively on the museum’s online store. Phil Sklar, co-founder and CEO of the National Bobblehead Hall of Fame and Museum, congratulated Richard on his achievement and wished him continued success in his gymnastics career, including at the upcoming Summer Games in Los Angeles in 2028.
