The final day of the Democratic National Convention on August 22, 2024, saw various notable figures and attendees preparing for the event at the United Center. Sherilyn Pruitt, Valerie Thomas, and Tracye Donovan, who are Howard University sorority sisters of Democratic Presidential nominee Vice President Kamala Harris, took a selfie together on the floor. An attendee was spotted wearing a pin depicting former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi. Eva Longoria posed on stage during a rehearsal, while Pink and her daughter, Willow Hart, practiced on stage as well. Rev. Al Sharpton was seen ahead of the event, along with actor and comedian D.L. Hughley rehearsing on stage. An influencer wearing a “Hotties for Harris” shirt was also present in the arena. The Chicks, consisting of Emily Robison, Natalie Maines, and Martie Maguire, rehearsed singing the National Anthem the day before. Ella Emhoff and Meena Harris were also seen speaking with a production crew member on stage during a rehearsal. The convention was filled with excitement and preparation as the day’s events unfolded.
