Massachusetts woman facing murder charge after allegedly kicking and stomping on man, according to DA

31-year-old Nina Busnengo, a resident of Mattapoisett and New Bedford, has been arrested and charged with murder in connection with the death of 58-year-old Stephen Oswald. Previously facing a charge of assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, Busnengo now remains held without bail on the new murder charge.

The incident took place earlier this month when New Bedford police responded to a call at Seabra Foods on Rockdale Avenue and found Oswald with a head injury. Despite the efforts of paramedics, Oswald was declared dead shortly before 4 a.m.

District Attorney Thomas M. Quinn III’s office has not released further details about the case, but the investigation is ongoing. Busnengo’s motive for the alleged crime remains unknown.

Neighbors and community members are shocked by the news of the tragic event and the involvement of someone living among them. The tight-knit community of Mattapoisett is left wondering what could have led to such a violent altercation resulting in a loss of life.

As the case progresses, authorities are urging anyone with information related to the incident to come forward and assist in the investigation. The family and friends of Stephen Oswald are grieving his loss and seeking justice for his untimely death.

The judicial process will continue as Nina Busnengo faces the consequences of her actions and the legal system determines the appropriate course of action in this tragic case.
