The Premier Lacrosse League is set to return to town on Monday

The Premier Lacrosse League is making a return to the Boston area with the Boston Cannons set to play in a quarterfinal match against the Carolina Chaos at Gillette Stadium. Despite having one of the best records in the league, the Cannons lost out on the Eastern Division title to the New York Atlas. The Cannons are led by attacking duo Asher Nolting and Marcus Holman and have a strong defensive player in Garrett Epple.

Carolina Chaos, on the other hand, made it to the playoffs with a losing record but have a strong defensive strategy anchored by goaltender Blaze Riorden. The Chaos struggle offensively but are known for their strong defensive play.

In addition to the Cannons versus Chaos matchup, the Denver Outlaws will face the Maryland Whipsnakes in another quarterfinal game. The Whipsnakes are known for their strong offensive game, while the Outlaws have a solid defense led by Brennan O’Neill.

The lacrosse action is set to kick off with the inaugural Stars & Stripes Classic, featuring an exhibition game between Green Berets and Navy SEAL veterans. The event aims to honor the bravery and dedication of these servicemen while raising funds and awareness for their foundations.

Overall, lacrosse fans are in for an exciting day of playoff action and a special tribute to military heroes at Gillette Stadium.
