Suspect arrested in deadly stabbing of 45-year-old man in Mattapan


Boston police have announced that a suspect has been arrested in connection with the fatal stabbing of 45-year-old Daniel Coke in Mattapan earlier this month. Jordan Albert-Scott, 33, has been charged with murder in the case. Coke died on Aug. 4 after being stabbed in the area of 10 Amory Terrace.

According to his obituary, Coke was born in Boston in 1979 and is survived by his wife Diamond Coke, children Amari and Jahdai Coke, parents Stanley and Sarah Coke, as well as numerous other family members and friends.

Following the incident, Coke was taken to a nearby hospital with life-threatening injuries and ultimately succumbed to his wounds. Albert-Scott is expected to be arraigned in Roxbury District Court for his alleged involvement in Coke’s death.

The Boston community is mourning the loss of Coke, who is remembered fondly by his loved ones. The family expressed their deep sorrow over his passing and the impact it will have on those who knew him.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding Coke’s death and are urging anyone with information to come forward. The arrest of Albert-Scott is seen as a step towards justice for the victim and his family.
