$1 million prize won by Mass. State Lottery ticket sold at convenience store


A convenience store in Massachusetts sold a winning $1 million lottery ticket last Friday, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery website. The lucky ticket came from the game “$1,000,000 Winning 7” and was sold at Fine Mart Convenience in Everett. The odds of winning the $1 million grand prize in this game are one in 3,024,000. Out of the five grand prize tickets that were distributed, only four have been claimed so far.

In total, there were 614 prizes worth $600 or more that were won or claimed across the state in all lottery games on Friday. Some of the highest number of prizes were claimed in Boston, Worcester, and Springfield.

The largest lottery prize won in Massachusetts this year was worth $15 million, which came from the “300X” scratch ticket game and was claimed on June 13. This latest win of $1 million adds to the excitement of lottery players in the state, as they continue to try their luck in hopes of winning big.
