Despite being briefly detained by police, Hill safely arrived at the stadium and is available to play in the game. Videos on social media show Hill in handcuffs while teammates and team security were present at the scene.
Hill’s agent, Drew Rosenhaus, described the incident as “mind-boggling” and stated that Hill received a ticket for a moving violation while entering the stadium. Rosenhaus expressed his desire for Hill to focus on playing in the game and investigate the incident afterwards.
The Dolphins have not provided further details about the incident, but Hill’s agent is planning to look into the matter after the game. Multiple teammates were seen arriving to assist Hill during the incident. Despite the unusual circumstances before the game, Hill is expected to be focused on playing and contributing to the team’s performance on the field.
