Marjorie Taylor Greene denouncing Loomer’s behavior as racist and not representative of the Republican party.
Despite the backlash, Loomer continues to defend her actions and criticize those who speak out against her. Trump’s campaign has denied any official association with Loomer, but she has been seen campaigning alongside prominent figures in the party. Trump himself has a history of endorsing various conspiracy theories, from the assassination of President John F. Kennedy to the false claim that President Barack Obama was born overseas.
Loomer’s presence at a 9/11 memorial event in New York prompted further outrage, with House Democratic leader Hakeem Jeffries calling Trump a “conspiracy theory-peddling racial arsonist and pathological liar.” Loomer, who describes herself as an investigative journalist, has faced controversy before, including being banned from Twitter and staging protests in response. Despite the criticism, Loomer remains defiant in her beliefs and continues to align herself with Trump and his supporters.
