Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck have been seen together for the first time since she filed for divorce. The couple was spotted on a blended family outing with their children in Los Angeles on Sept. 14. They were seen walking into a hotel with their kids and later driving in an SUV together.
Lopez filed for divorce from Affleck in August, citing their separation in April. This appearance comes just days after Lopez attended the premiere of her film “Unstoppable” at the Toronto International Film Festival without Affleck. At the premiere, she was seen chatting and holding hands with coproducer Matt Damon.
Despite their split, there doesn’t seem to be any awkwardness among the cast and crew of “Unstoppable” regarding the former couple’s breakup. Director William Goldenberg mentioned that everyone has kept their focus on the movie.
This public outing has raised questions about the status of Lopez and Affleck’s relationship, but representatives for both stars have not commented on the matter. This reunion comes after their whirlwind romance and marriage. Whether this is a sign of reconciliation or simply co-parenting remains unclear. Lopez and Affleck continue to remain in the spotlight, regardless of their relationship status.
