Halle Berry recently admitted to a “dumb mom moment” involving her daughter Nahla, 16. Berry brought Nahla to see her horror film “Never Let Go” where she plays a mom and Nahla ended up leaving the screening in tears. Berry shared that Nahla questioned why she would want to see her mother in such a role. Despite this mishap, Berry’s children enjoy some of her other films such as “Catwoman” and “Race the Sun,” though they haven’t seen many of her movies. Motherhood has had a significant impact on Berry’s acting career, with her stating that playing roles as a mother excites her because of her own experiences as a mom. While she values motherhood, Berry also emphasized that she is still an artist and a woman with aspirations outside of being a mother. “Never Let Go” is set to premiere in theaters on September 20th. Berry’s approach to balancing motherhood with her career highlights her dedication to both aspects of her life.
