Two young players scored their first career goals as CF Montreal rallied for a 2-2 draw with the New England Revolution on Wednesday night. The Revolution took a two-goal lead in the first half, with goals from Bobby Wood and Esmir Bajraktarevic. However, Montreal fought back in the second half with goals from Tom Pearce and Nathan Saliba.

Pearce scored his first goal off a free kick, while Saliba netted his first career goal to secure the equalizer. Teenage defender Peyton Miller also made history by recording his first career assist at just 16 years old. Carles Gil picked up his ninth assist of the season, tying the club record for most assists with 73.

New England goalkeeper Aljaz Ivacic made four saves, while Montreal’s Jonathan Sirois stopped four shots as well. The two teams have a long history, with New England leading the all-time series 16-13-4.

Following this draw, the Revolution will face Charlotte FC on Saturday, while Montreal will host the Chicago Fire. Montreal now has a road record of 5-8-2 against the Revs, showing their ability to compete away from home.
