In girls’ soccer action on Saturday, September 21, a number of high schools across various divisions competed in exciting matchups. Notable games included Newton North High School tying Boston Latin School 2-2 in the Bay State – Carey Division, Needham High School defeating Dover-Sherborn High School 3-2 in the Bay State – Herget Division, and Notre Dame Academy (Hingham) securing a 1-0 victory over Milton High School in both the Bay State – Herget Division and Catholic Conference.
In boys’ soccer, Sharon High School emerged victorious with a 4-2 win over Walpole High School in the Bay State – Herget Division, while Lenox Memorial Middle & High School notched a 2-0 victory over Taconic High School in the BI-COUNTY league. In other matches, Smith Academy defeated Hopkins Academy 1-0 in the SCHMID division, Longmeadow High School edged out Wachusett Regional High School 3-2 in the SMITH division, and Boston College High School tied with Lexington High School 1-1 in the Catholic Conference.
On the same day, Lee Middle/High School dominated Drury High School with a 56-8 victory in both the INTERCOUNTY SOUTH and TRI-COUNTY leagues, while Frontier Regional School and St. Mary’s (Lynn) settled for a 1-1 draw in the SUBURBAN division. Additionally, Baystate Academy Charter Public School defeated Lowell Catholic High School 3-0 in an independent matchup.
