Taisun Phommachanh led FBS independent Massachusetts to their first victory of the season, throwing three touchdown passes in a 35-31 win over Central Connecticut. The game was a back-and-forth battle, with Central Connecticut taking the lead at one point before Phommachanh’s heroics sealed the win for the Minutemen.
