New Patriots starting center Nick Leverett is ready to step in to replace the injured David Andrews. Leverett has a background in criminal justice and aspires to be an FBI agent. He admires Trent Williams and even received his jersey after a game. Leverett’s favorite movie is “Life” with Eddie Murphy and Martin Lawrence, and he enjoys listening to gospel music by John P. Kee. Leverett has bonded with fellow Patriot Michael Jordan and appreciates the food in the New England region. He believes Buccaneers center Robert Hainsey is underrated and has hidden talents as a musician who plays piano and drums. Leverett’s football journey started in fifth grade, and he has fond memories of high school and college games. He cherishes his time at North Carolina Central University, where he found love and the opportunity to play football. Leverett is grateful for the chance he was given at NCCU and values the HBCU experience. Patriots fans will be watching closely as Leverett takes on the challenge of filling Andrews’ shoes on the field.
