Bill Belichick and his son, Steve Belichick, were spotted on the Washington Huskies’ field ahead of their game against Michigan. While Bill has stepped back from coaching in the NFL and pursued media endeavors, Steve is now the defensive coordinator for the Huskies. The father-son duo has remained heavily involved in football, with Bill supporting Steve since he was hired in February.
During the game, Bill was in grandpa mode, entertaining his grandchildren while chatting with Steve pregame. This isn’t the first time Bill has visited the Huskies since Steve joined the team, as he was a keynote speaker at a coaching clinic back in April.
Steve’s Huskies have had a promising start to the season, with a 3-2 record going into the game against the Wolverines. Washington’s defense, led by Steve, has been strong, allowing just 12.4 points per game, recording 12 sacks, and three interceptions.
Both Bill and Steve have a strong coaching history with the New England Patriots, where they won three Super Bowls together. Despite no longer being on the Patriots’ coaching staff, the Belichicks’ passion for football remains evident in their continued involvement in the sport. The father-son duo’s presence on the Huskies’ field was a reminder of their shared dedication to the game.
