In local high school soccer action on Monday, Oct. 14, several exciting matches took place across different conferences. In the Bi-County division, Smith Academy faced off against Franklin County Tech. School, resulting in a 0-0 tie. In the Catholic Conference, Notre Dame Academy (Hingham) and Norwell High School also ended in a 2-2 draw.
In the Central division, Monson High School defeated Palmer High School with a score of 2-0. Northampton High School had a strong showing against Amherst-Pelham Reg High School, winning 6-0. Southwick Regional School secured a 3-1 victory over Granby Jr./Sr. High School.
In the Coombs division, Longmeadow High School narrowly edged out Minnechaug Regional High School with a 1-0 win. Westfield High School emerged victorious against Ludlow High School with a score of 4-2. In the Kurty/Fielding division, Agawam High School triumphed over Chicopee Comp High School with a score of 2-0.
