During a “Saturday Night Live” Weekend Update sketch, co-host Colin Jost took a shot at Brady, joking that he may be a part-owner of the Raiders, but he is still “fully owned” by the Giants, referencing the two Super Bowls Brady lost to the Giants during his career.
Brady’s ownership stake with the Raiders was initially announced in 2023 but faced delays due to concerns about partiality as Brady transitioned into a broadcasting career. However, the sale was recently approved by league owners, with Las Vegas controlling owner Mark Davis selling 10.5 percent of his ownership stake to Brady. Former Patriot Richard Seymour also acquired a 0.5 percent stake in the Raiders.
