Philadelphia now has a circular video “Portal” installed at Love Park, which livestreams 24/7 to other countries. The installation was originally in New York City and offers unfiltered livestreams to Dublin, Vilnius, and Lublin. Another portal is set to launch in Brazil. The portal will remain at Love Park until November 7 before moving to a different location in the city. The screen on the portal has a crack, but it was not caused by vandalism and will be fixed soon. The Portals project aims to connect the world through livestream installations, with more portals expected to launch in other countries like Brazil and Ethiopia. The project is a testament to the power of art to transcend physical barriers and create a global network that acts as a bridge to a united planet.
