Louisiana’s Secretary of State is taking measures to prevent traffic jams and potential issues with early voting ahead of Taylor Swift’s New Orleans concerts this weekend. With over 150,000 fans expected to attend the “Era’s Tour” stops at the Caesars Superdome, the state has established a temporary alternative early voting site in a local community center in Orleans Parish to accommodate voters affected by street closures and traffic delays. The state’s early voting period runs from Oct. 18 to Oct. 29, with the exception of Sunday, Oct. 27. Additionally, State Attorney General Liz Murrill warned fans about possible ticket scams and price gouging related to the concerts. The state is working to ensure that both voters and concert-goers have a smooth experience during this busy weekend in New Orleans.
