Former President Donald Trump began his week campaigning in the Southeast and is now headed west. He is scheduled to hold a rally in Tempe, Arizona, and then another event in Las Vegas, Nevada, with Turning Point founder Charlie Kirk, Tulsi Gabbard, and Vivek Ramaswamy. Both Arizona and Nevada are key battleground states for the 2024 presidential election. Some of Trump’s surrogates will be in other swing states on Thursday as well.
Former White House Chief of Staff John Kelly recently stated in an interview with the New York Times that Trump exhibits fascist characteristics and has made controversial comments, including saying that “Hitler did some good things, too.” Trump is expected to be at his Mar-a-Lago estate in Florida on election night. A judge has ordered Army officials to release records of Trump’s visit to Arlington National Cemetery in August.
In addition to his upcoming events in Arizona and Nevada, Trump participated in a town hall and rally in Georgia on Wednesday. The former president’s campaign is in full swing as he continues his efforts to rally support for a potential run in the 2024 election.
