The West of the River Chamber of Commerce is hosting its annual Food Fest West festival on Nov. 20, showcasing local restaurants from Western Mass. The event, now in its 15th year, aims to encourage residents to dine locally and support businesses in the area. Participating restaurants include Murphy’s Pub, Nadim’s Downtown Mediterranean Grill, Joey’s Deli, and more. Attendees can sample dishes and vote for their favorite, with the winning restaurant receiving a trophy. The event will also feature a silent auction, photo booth, live music, and a raffle.
Proceeds from Food Fest West will benefit the chamber’s education fund, supporting local businesses and high school students through a student ambassador program. The Chamber aims to keep young people in Western Mass. by introducing them to business owners and legislators.
Food Fest West will be held at the Crestview Country Club in Agawam from 5:30 to 8 p.m. Tickets can be purchased in advance for $50 online or $60 at the door. The event’s sponsors include Peoples Bank, OMG, Inc., and The Reminder.
