Hallmark has issued a recall for a “Star Wars” Christmas tree ornament featuring the character Cad Bane from “The Book of Boba Fett” due to concerns about mold exposure. The brown paint on the ornament did not fully dry before packaging, leading to mold growth on the figurine. While there have been 16 consumer reports of mold on the ornament, no injuries have been reported.
The Hallmark Keepsake ornament was sold nationwide for around $22 between September and October 2024, with approximately 11,100 units impacted by the recall. Consumers are urged to return the ornament to a Hallmark Gold Crown store or online for a full refund.
