Celtics’ Position Going Into Final Group Stage Game

The Boston Celtics are gearing up for their last group stage game in the NBA Cup this Friday night against the Chicago Bulls. As the tournament moves closer to the knockout rounds, there are various possible scenarios in play for the Celtics.

In the NBA Cup format, each team in a group plays against the other four teams once during the group stage. The team with the best record moves on to the knockout rounds, where there will be six group winners and two wild card teams advancing to the quarterfinals. The Celtics and the Hawks are currently leading the East Group C standings with a 2-1 record.

In order to come out on top in their group, the Celtics will need to secure a win against the Bulls and hope for the Cavaliers to defeat the Hawks. If all five teams in the group end up with a 2-2 record, the point differential tiebreaker will come into play to determine the winner. The Celtics are currently in second place in point differential behind the Cavaliers.

With the quarterfinals scheduled to be played from December 10-11, the Celtics are aiming to make a strong push towards the NBA Cup championship. The semifinals and championship rounds will take place at Las Vegas’s T-Mobile Arena on December 14 and December 17, respectively. Celtics fans will be eagerly awaiting the team’s performance in the upcoming crucial games as they strive for cup glory.
