The Canadian Pacific Holiday Train, in its 26th year, travels across Canada and the northern U.S. to raise money and donations for food banks. The train, which is about 1,000 feet long and consists of 14 decorated rail cars, makes stops at 150 stations, entertaining crowds with live music and spreading awareness about the issue of hunger. The train is sponsored by GE and is a symbol of hope during the holiday season.
One of the stops for the Holiday Train was in Kimball, Minnesota, where crowds gathered to see the brightly-lit cars pass by. In Fort Edward, New York, the train’s stop benefited the Saratoga County EOC food programs. The train also made stops in Detroit, Toronto, and Wauwatosa, Wisconsin, with live music performances at each location.
The Holiday Train is a beloved tradition that brings communities together to support those in need during the holiday season. It serves as a reminder of the importance of giving back and helping others in times of need. The train’s festive decorations and live music performances create a joyful atmosphere for all who attend, spreading holiday cheer and raising awareness about hunger in North America.
