Canucks blank Bruins as DeBrusk makes triumphant return to Boston

In a thrilling match at TD Garden, the Vancouver Canucks secured a 2-0 victory over the Boston Bruins on Tuesday night. Jake DeBrusk, making his return to Boston after signing with the Canucks last summer, scored a power-play goal in the second period. Conor Garland assisted on DeBrusk’s goal and also added an empty-netter in the closing seconds of the game.

Kevin Lankinen stood strong in goal for the Canucks, making a total of 32 saves to secure the shutout. DeBrusk’s goal marked his third in two games, showcasing his impressive form throughout November with a total of 16 points.

Bruins goaltender Jeremy Swayman made 13 saves in the losing effort, as the Canucks’ offense proved to be too much to handle. Canucks forward Brock Boeser made a return to the team after missing seven games due to an upper-body injury.

Overall, it was a memorable night for DeBrusk and the Canucks as they delivered a well-deserved victory over the Bruins on their home turf.
