Former My Chemical Romance Drummer Bob Bryar Passes Away at 44

Bob Bryar, the former drummer for renowned rock band My Chemical Romance, has sadly passed away at the age of 44. The band confirmed his death, but no cause was immediately provided.

Bryar was the longest-serving drummer for My Chemical Romance, playing with the band from 2004 to 2010, a period that included the release of their hit album “The Black Parade” in 2006. He had previously been working as a sound engineer for The Used when he joined the band.

In a 2016 interview with Alternative Press, Bryar shared his excitement about joining the band, despite their poor conditions at the time. He described his time with My Chemical Romance as special and cherished memories like playing a sold-out show at Madison Square Garden.

After leaving the band in 2010, Bryar retired from drumming in 2021 due to wrist issues and other personal reasons. While he may not have listened to My Chemical Romance’s music in recent years, his contributions to the band were significant.

My Chemical Romance, without Bryar, announced their return in 2019 and are gearing up for a major tour in 2022. Despite his absence, Bryar’s impact on the band and their music will always be remembered.
