Endicott College to host memorial event for police sergeant who died in tragic accident


Endicott College is mourning the loss of police sergeant Jeremy Cole, who was tragically killed in a wrong-way collision on Interstate 95. The school will hold a gathering on Monday morning for students to come together and remember Cole as they return to campus. The event, taking place at 9 a.m. in the Center for Belonging, aims to help the community collectively process this devastating loss. Comfort dogs will also be available on campus throughout the week to provide support during this difficult time.

Cole was on his way home to Exeter, New Hampshire after leaving his shift on campus when he was struck head-on by the wrong-way driver. Endicott College Chief of Police Kerry Ramsdell confirmed the details in a statement.

The school is coming together to honor the memory of Sergeant Cole and support one another during this tragic time. Cole’s loss is deeply felt by the Endicott community, and his dedication to serving and protecting the college will not be forgotten.
