The Boston Common Frog Pond has kicked off its skating season for 2024-2025, with the ice rink open until March 10, 2025. Skating hours are from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday, from 10 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. on Monday, and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. Ticket prices are $10 for skaters taller than 58 inches, with free admission for those under 58 inches. Skaters can bring their own skates or rent them for $15 for adults and $10 for kids. Additional services such as lockers, skate sharpening, and skating aids are available for an additional fee. The rink will close early at 5 p.m. on Christmas Eve and at 3 p.m. on New Year’s Eve, with special skating performances scheduled for New Year’s Eve. There will be no skating on Christmas Day, but the rink will be open for regular hours on New Year’s Day. The Frog Pond Skating Spectacular promises to be a fun activity for families and friends this winter season in Boston.
