Vancouver Whitecaps recently fired coach Vanni Sartini after the team’s elimination from the MLS playoffs. Sartini, who became the team’s coach in August 2021, had a record of 44 wins, 40 losses, and 32 draws in MLS regular-season play. His departure is part of a trend in the MLS, which has seen 10 coaching changes since the start of the 2024 season.
