The New England Patriots have announced plans to build a new, football-exclusive training facility near Gillette Stadium, with construction set to begin soon and a target opening date of spring 2026. The three-story building will be located next to the lower practice field and will include a player lounge, larger locker rooms, an expanded weight room, and redesigned practice fields. The facility will also house training rooms, meeting rooms, and administrative offices, providing a dedicated space for the team’s day-to-day activities. Despite the new facility, the stadium locker room inside Gillette Stadium will remain operational for game day needs. The project, led by the Kraft Group and Patriots chairman Robert Kraft, is aimed at enhancing the player experience and improving team operations. Suffolk Construction has been contracted for the construction of the facility, with work set to commence following the conclusion of renovations on the north side of the stadium. The new facility is designed to cater to the needs of the players and coaching staff, with a focus on training, rehabilitation, strategy meetings, and overall player development.
