The Patriot Awards, hosted by Sean Hannity, celebrates military veterans, first responders, and inspirational everyday heroes. In 2024, a new award, Patriot of the Year, was created for the ceremony. Originally set to be hosted by Defense secretary nominee Pete Hegseth, it was later hosted by Sean Hannity after Hegseth left the network. President-elect Donald Trump was named the Patriot of the Year at the 2024 Fox Nation Patriot Awards event in Long Island, New York. Trump highlighted his electoral and popular vote wins during the event. Other awards presented included the Culture Warrior Award and the T2T Stephen Siller Back the Blue Award. The event also featured the announcement of David Sacks as “AI and crypto czar” and former U.S. Senator David Perdue as ambassador to China. Trump also revealed his plans to attend the reopening of the Notre Dame cathedral in Paris. Last year’s winners included Tiffany Justice, Tina Descovich, and James Patterson. The Patriot Awards aim to recognize and honor America’s finest patriots in various fields.
