She took the stage at the Republican National Convention this year and delivered a speech in support of Trump. Habba, a mother of three, identifies as a first-generation Arab American woman and a devout Catholic. Trump has referred to her as a role model for women in law and politics, and named her Chaldean Woman of the Year. Habba’s appointment as counselor to the president signifies her significant contributions to Trump’s legal team and her standing within the Republican party.
