Authorities have identified two individuals who were killed in a three-way vehicle crash in New Salem.


Gerald and Margaret Patriquin, residents of Gardner, tragically lost their lives in a three-vehicle crash on Route 202 in New Salem. The couple, aged 89 and 74, died at the scene of the accident, according to Northwestern County District Attorney David E. Sullivan. The Patriquins were the sole occupants of a truck involved in the crash, which occurred near 648 Daniel Shays Highway. Fortunately, all other individuals involved in the collision survived.
