“Vanderpump Rules” Star James Kennedy Arrested for Domestic Violence
Reality star James Kennedy, known for his appearance on “Vanderpump Rules,” was arrested for misdemeanor domestic violence in Burbank. Police responded to a call about an argument between Kennedy and a woman, although witnesses claimed they did not see any visible injuries on the woman. Kennedy and his girlfriend, Ally Lewber, were attending a Christmas party at Kathy Hilton’s home on the night of the incident.
Kennedy was released on a $20,000 bail and the Burbank City Attorney’s Office is reviewing the case for possible charges. The couple had been dating since January, with Lewber expressing that their relationship was going well, attributing it to the fact that they were not filming for the show.
Bravo recently announced a reboot of “Vanderpump Rules” with an all-new cast for Season 12, which led to Kennedy feeling emotions about being off the show. Lewber mentioned that he was reflecting on his journey since starting the show and was proud of where he is today.
The next season of “Vanderpump Rules” will feature Lisa Vanderpump and a new group of “close-knit SUR-vers.” Production is set to begin next year with casting still to be determined. Kennedy’s rep has not commented on the incident.
