One person was killed and eight others were injured in a shooting at a nightclub in Amarillo, Texas. The incident occurred early Sunday morning when a person opened fire on a large crowd outside the nightclub. Police found nine gunshot victims, with six taken to the hospital and others arriving in private vehicles. One victim, identified as John Love Louima, died from his injuries. Three suspects were later arrested, including Robert Kenney Knox and Nahryah Hilesta Ines Hayes, who were charged with murder and other offenses. The third suspect was charged with public intoxication. The shooting is believed to have stemmed from an altercation inside the bar that led the suspects to leave and return later to open fire. The suspects fled the scene but were apprehended with the help of a witness who followed their car. Police did not provide specific details on the conditions of the surviving victims.
