First U.S. President Trump to Attend a Super Bowl

President Donald Trump made history on Sunday when he became the first sitting president to attend a Super Bowl. During the game, he praised the NFL and the players for their dedication and hard work, noting that football is a unifying force in American culture. Despite being surprised to learn that he was the first president to attend the big game, Trump expressed his excitement at the opportunity to be part of such an iconic event.

Before the Super Bowl, Trump also took a moment to remember the victims of a terrorist attack on Bourbon Street earlier in the year. He met with family members of the victims and members of the New Orleans Police Department during a meet and greet at the stadium.

While Trump declined to pick a winner for the game, he hinted that he may be leaning towards the Kansas City Chiefs due to quarterback Patrick Mahomes’ track record in high-pressure games. This was not Trump’s first time attending a Super Bowl, as he previously attended Super Bowl XXVI in 1992. Despite the surprise of being the first sitting president at the Super Bowl, Trump expressed his enthusiasm for the event and the game.
