BC High coach Bill Loughnane saw Jacob Seyfried finally have his breakout game when it mattered most, leading the team to a 67-56 win over Everett in the MIAA Division 1 Basketball Tournament. Seyfried scored 24 points, with 14 coming in the fourth quarter, to help his team advance to the Round of 32. The Eagles struggled in the first half but came out firing in the third quarter, eventually pulling away in the final quarter. Seyfried showcased his skills with a variety of impressive plays, including a reverse layup that put BC High up by nine points with four minutes left. The atmosphere in the gym was electric, with both teams’ fans providing energy and support. The win was a result of a total team effort, with contributions from multiple players. BC High will now face Andover in the next round, with Seyfried likely to be a key player once again.
