A lucky Massachusetts lottery player is set to receive $2,500 a week for life after claiming a winning ticket from a new scratch ticket game called “$2,500 A Week For Life.” The $10 game, released on February 18, has already produced eight grand prize winners as of March 6, with the winning ticket sold at Black Duck Market & Deli in Newburyport.
In addition to this exciting win, two players also won $100,000 prizes during the daily “Mass Cash” drawing on Wednesday. Another player claimed a $100,000 prize from a winning “Millions” ticket purchased at the Shell on Main Street in Medway.
The Massachusetts State Lottery reported a total of 598 prizes worth $600 or more won or claimed in the state on Tuesday, with multiple winners in cities such as Springfield, Worcester, and Boston.
The largest lottery prize claimed so far in 2025 was a $15 million prize from a “Diamond Deluxe” scratch ticket sold in Holyoke. The winner chose to receive a one-time payment of $9.75 million and expressed a desire to help their family and invest wisely with their winnings.
The Massachusetts State Lottery maintains a list of winning tickets worth more than $600 daily, providing transparency and excitement for lottery players in the state.
