NBC Sports Boston, the Celtics, and the WNBA’s Sun have joined forces for an all-female game broadcast for the second consecutive year. Abby Chin will step into a new role as the color analyst for the Celtics-Pistons broadcast, alongside play-by-play announcer Tiffany Greene.
For the upcoming Celtics-Nets game, Abby Chin will handle play-by-play duties, with Diamond DeShields and Jackie MacMullan as color analysts. This special broadcast is part of the Women’s History Month celebration and aims to showcase the talents of women in sports broadcasting.
Last year, Abby Chin partnered with Zora Stephenson for the all-female broadcast, and this time, she takes on a new challenge as the play-by-play voice. Kayla Burton will host the studio programming, featuring insight and analysis from Sun president Jen Rizzotti and Celtics scout Ashley Battle.
The game coverage will start at 7 p.m., providing viewers with a unique and insightful perspective on the game.
