Boston Celtics’ Baylor Scheierman led the way to a 104-96 victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday night. Scheierman scored a career-high 20 points, with 13 coming in the fourth quarter. Kristaps Porzingas added 25 points and 13 rebounds to secure the win for the Celtics.
With injured stars Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown getting some extra rest, Scheierman took advantage of the opportunity to shine on the court. His impressive performance in the second half, including multiple 3-pointers, helped Boston maintain control and secure the win.
Derrick White, Jrue Holiday, and Payton Pritchard also contributed to the Celtics’ victory with solid performances. On the Nets’ side, D’Angelo Russell led the team with 18 points, but it wasn’t enough to overcome Boston’s strong fourth-quarter performance.
The win marked the Celtics’ ninth straight victory over the struggling Nets in the regular season. Boston will now embark on a six-game road trip, starting with a matchup against the Utah Jazz.
