Boston Red Sox’s new backup catcher, Carlos Narvaez, will make his debut on Saturday against the Texas Rangers. Narvaez, acquired from the Yankees in the offseason, earned the job thanks to his defensive skills. The lineup will see several adjustments with Kristian Campbell starting in left field and Jarren Duran moving to center. Wilyer Abreu will stay in right field despite initially being scheduled for a day off. David Hamilton will start at second base and Walker Buehler will make his first start for the Red Sox, facing off against Tyler Mahle. The Red Sox lineup will also feature Rafael Devers, Alex Bregman, Triston Casas, Trevor Story, and Carlos Narvaez. The game will be broadcast on NESN and WEEI 93.7 FM, among other stations, at 7:05 p.m. ET at Globe Life Field in Arlington, Texas.
