The Tigers, led by star senior Simon Vardeh, secured a 3-1 win over the Rockets, preventing a fifth set with an 8-0 run at the end. They emphasized their readiness to compete and remain a team to beat.
The closely matched game featured back-and-forth runs, with both teams showcasing their talents. Newton North’s Nelson and Vardeh played key roles in securing crucial points, while Needham’s Cloonan and Kurdziel led their team in scoring. Despite the intense competition, Newton North’s grit and teamwork helped them come out on top.
